Coaches

The School organises coaches from all points of the compass to Akeley Wood Senior and Junior Schools through a private contractor, Jeffs Coaches.   

Applications for coach places will be taken for pupils who are in Year 2 or above, (except for the B Shuttle, which has an accompanying teacher), and will take pupils from four years old. Applications do not continue from year to year, and are on a strictly first come first served basis.  We therefore encourage you to complete the form below or send the attached transport form to Mrs Houghton Brown as soon as possible.   Bus passes will be issued to each pupil who travels on the coach, and should be shown on each journey.

If your son/daughter does not normally travel on the coach, but wishes to go home with a pupil that does, please contact Mrs Houghton Brown to see if there is a seat available, and to obtain a temporary bus pass. This should be requested in advance if possible and in writing, by email to: lois.hb@akeleywoodsenior.co.uk .  Spare places cannot be guaranteed. Please do not put your child on a coach without prior consent.
