Akeley Wood’s Modern Twist to the Traditional Nativity.

Akeley Wood Junior School’s Nursery and Reception children stunned the audience with their performance of ‘Mary’s Knitting’ a modern spin on the traditional Nativity.

Ruby Cooke fulfilled her part beautifully as the leading girl (Mary) with an impressive solo. Freddie Finland complemented her, playing the all important Joseph role.

Ben McCann played Sid the Shepherd, responsible for keeping the five happy sheep in line. The little flock came bouncing onto the stage looking adorable in their cute costumes.

Our shining star: helped the shepherds and wise men find their way with her dazzling solo.

Mary finished her knitting just in time to reveal a blanket to wrap the baby Jesus in.

What a wonderful end to a delightful concert!
