 BUSKING AT TILE HOUSE MANSION

Children at Tile House Mansion also enjoyed a day of fun filled activities:

Miss Clark, Akeley Wood's new Head of Drama, posed as a statue during morning break on Friday. In traditional busking style she put a hat down to collect donations for Children in Need. Pupils were intrigued and entertained by the spectacle, particularly when Bathsheda Babbling from Harry Potter was joined by Ali G and Salvadore Dali!

Miss Clark also ran a competition to see who could identify which Harry Potter character she was playing. This was something of a challenge as the teacher of Ancient Runes at Hogwarts doesn't actually appear in the books or films and is only referred to by J.K.Rowling on her website.

One pupil in year 7, Hugo Byron, after some industrious internet research, did work out which character she was, and he wins a £5 book token. Well done Hugo!
