Newly Elected House Captains at the Junior School

Isabella - 6S

I am really happy to be House Captain for Hillcrest House. I dislike maths but I enjoy sports and drama. I am in the A Team for netball so I represent Akeley Wood to other schools.

Daniel - 6H

I like reading and love to play my instruments. I am really happy to be House Captain for Hillcrest and I am really looking forward to this term.

Robert - 6P

I love being House Captain for Stuart House. The things I like at school are: sport, the teachers, maths, singing in the choir and geography. The things I  slightly dislike are: science, RE and that is probably it. The things I like out of school are: football, badminton, playing on the PS3, F1, playing with my brother, Ross, playing with my friends and lots more.

Jodie - 6C

I am very proud to be House Captain for Stuart House. Thank you Year 6 for voting for me. I love street dancing. I do Dance Club at school. I am really looking forward to making a cushion in Patchwork Club.

Nathan - 6H

I’m the new Pilgrim House Captain. I’m very sporty (so look out for me on the school field) and I’m also very enthusiastic and committed towards the school. I will do my utmost to help everyone. I aim to be a good House Captain, I hope all you parents and pupils like me!

Natasha - 6C

I play cello and attend the Birmingham Conservatoire every Saturday. I do 7 clubs at school. My favourite subjects are art, drama and music. I am really looking forward to being House Captain for Pilgrim this term.

Lawrence - 6C

I have always wanted to be a House Captain. I think I will be suitable for this because I have lots of interests ranging from football and all other sports to music and drama. Also, last term I went to school in America for 6 weeks and this has given me lots of new ideas and experiences that I can share. I am House Captain of Thompson House.

Molly - 6H

I am House Captain for Thompson House. I have been at Akeley Wood School for over  five years. My favourite hobbies are reading and art and I also enjoy playing netball and swimming.
