5D’s Assembly

Assembly Report

On Friday 24th March Akeley Wood Junior School took part in a celebration for Red Nose Day. For 5D’s assembly, the students took time to inform their ‘American’ teacher about a very special event that is held every two years in the UK, all while sporting their Roman costumes for Roman Day.

The students shared with the audience the history of this event and how it improves the lives of people in the UK and Africa through the charity, Comic Relief. The class also shared some of their favourite jokes to kick off the Red Nose Day celebrations at Akeley Wood.

I am very proud of all my students for their hard work in preparing for our assembly and their musical performances.
