A Level Results

Students at Akeley Wood School carry on the School’s tradition of achieving strong results with a fantastic 97% overall pass rate with 40% of pupils achieving A*-B grades.  100% of students studying Geography, Chemistry, Further Maths, Art, English, French, Chinese and Music achieved grades between A*- C.

Congratulations to two of our Heads of School, Issy Honour (off to study Psychology at University of Exeter) and Robert Duncombe (exploring career opportunities) each achieving A*AB with Robert also attaining an A* in his Extended Project Qualification.  Further congratulations go to Sebastian Balch (going to study Biochemistry at University of St Andrews) for achieving AAAB and Louis Forbes-Wright for AABB (off to study Maths at University of Bristol).

Head Mrs Jenny Clough commented:

“We are all extremely proud of our A Level students. These results are directly attributable not only to the hard work, dedication and perseverance of the students themselves, but also to the quality of teaching delivered at Akeley Wood School.”
