Local opportunities for Sixth Form Students
A team of year 12 students have been involved in a community link with Akeley village Primary School, delivering two after school clubs on Mondays and Wednesdays this term. Children from Akeley Primary School from reception to Year 2 took part in the after school clubs, one a hip hop club and the other themed with the Gruffalo and being more art and craft based.
The year 12 team have worked hard and shown great commitment to this opportunity and I am incredibly pleased with the enthusiasm and proactive approach they showed, organising their time and delivering such a successful set of sessions for these younger children. Thank you to Akeley Primary School and Rachael Wrigley for developing this link with the Sixth Form, another to add to the community opportunities available to our Sixth Form students.
Thank you to year 12
