On Thursday 12th October, Year 7 pupils enjoyed a Life Learning lesson on Mindfulness, in order to help them to reduce stress and promote wellbeing. In our busy lives, it is more important than ever to find peaceful moments and to focus on the present. Pupils experienced conscious observation, a guided meditation, and a mindful walk around our beautiful grounds. They focused on their senses and appreciated the nature around them. By considering the best ways in which they can reduce stress and anxiety, pupils are better equipped to deal with life’s challenges. They certainly left the lesson a lot more relaxed and ready for the day ahead!
