Year 5 Bushcraft Trip

Year 5 Bushcraft Trip- Boughton Woods
At the beginning of the month, Year 5 had the opportunity to spend 3 nights camping at Boughton Woods. The pupils took part in a variety of different activities throughout the day such as: Archery, Tomahawk throwing and bow and arrow tag. Having finally got the smell of wood smoke out of their clothes, they returned to school, happy if not a little tired. Highlights of the Bushcraft trip included the delicious food (pizza, hot dogs and pancakes), archery and a First Aid practical where the teachers needed saving. We also enjoyed watching Mrs Page eat a fish eye, making tent pegs and wrist bands. Making dens and teacher traps will be remembered for a long time to come!
