Akeley Wood School is a vibrant, co-educational day school for children aged 1 to 18, set across three beautiful campuses in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

✨ A Nativity to Remember ✨
Our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children lit up the stage last week with beautiful singing, dancing and storytelling in both the morning and afternoon performances. The afternoon show was especially full, with many proud grandparents sharing how brilliantly the children and staff did.
The children remembered every word and action, bringing real joy and meaning to the story. Mrs Eveleigh continues to enrich our Performing Arts curriculum, and this year’s production shone with creativity as the children performed all around — and even through — the audience.
A huge well done to every performer, and thank you to all our families for joining us.

𝐀 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞! Our Year 11 Food & Nutrition students visited Spitalfields and Brick Lane for a brilliant “Walk, Eat, Talk, Eat” tour – and they sampled their way through some incredible flavours!
From Sri Lankan street food and freshly made Indian pastries to handmade Ghanaian chocolates at Dark Sugars, warm bagels from London’s oldest Jewish bagel shop and still-warm sourdough doughnuts, the day was packed with delicious discoveries.
Along the way, students learned how migration has shaped the area’s rich food culture, gaining a deeper understanding of the communities that have influenced the flavours and traditions of this vibrant part of London.
A fantastic day out, beautifully represented by our students — and Year 10 have this to look forward to in the summer!
