Remember that feeling of not quite knowing whatโs next?
Even as lessons and deadlines fill the week, many AW6 Sixth Form students are still figuring out who they want to be and where their interests might lead.
Then Friday afternoon ECA rolls around โ and with it, time to explore! Some start new clubs like our Medical Society, others join Young Enterprise to test entrepreneurial ideas, volunteer at a care home, or delve deeper into a passion for sport, music or a chosen subject.
Through the AW6 Diploma Programme, students learn to connect these experiences to create their own story, building the skills, self-belief and purpose theyโll share in UCAS or apprenticeship applications and carry into life beyond school.

Weโve had the most amazing few days exploring this beautiful city โ wandering through the Alhambraโs gardens, tasting traditional tapas and watching flamenco dancers bring the music to life.
Itโs been incredible to experience everything weโve learned in Spanish lessons right here in Spain โ hearing the language all around us, seeing the architecture we studied and discovering how warm and welcoming the culture is.

Over the weekend, Charlie and 35 of his Year 10 classmates took on their Duke of Edinburgh expedition โ two days of teamwork, resilience and discovery.
From navigating countryside trails to cooking together under canvas, they showed real courage and camaraderie, supporting one another through every challenge.
These are the moments that shape character, build friendships and remind our students that the adventure, now, is every bit as important as the destination.
