Admissions Process

Applying for your place at Akeley Wood.

Apply for a place at our exceptional school and put your child on the path to a fantastic educational experience. We have designed our admissions process to be as easy as possible and we will happily guide you every step of the way. We encourage early applications for September entry, and if spaces allow, we also welcome mid year joiners at any point in the academic year.

Get in touch

Give our Admissions Team a call on 01280 828 122 so we can talk about your child, year group availability and answer all of your initial questions.

Alternatively complete the enquiry form and our Admissions Team will be in touch to discuss your interest in the school.

Visit us

Experience the welcoming atmosphere of Akeley Wood first-hand by coming along for a personal tour, or attending one of our Open Events. Our Headteachers, staff and students look forward to meeting you to show you around and give you an insight into school life.

Apply

When you're ready to take the next step, simply complete the registration and pay the £150 registration fee (our Admissions Manager will send full details). Then our Admissions Process can begin.

Taster Day

This is a great way for your child to meet their classmates and our teachers while we assess their capabilities and behavior.

Accept the offer

Once an offer has been made to you in writing, we would ask that you return the signed documentation within seven days to confirm acceptance of a place, and pay the £750 deposit which is refunded to you when your child graduates Akeley Wood.
