A glimpse into life beyond GCSEs ๐
Following our AW6 Open Evening in November, this month`s Sixth Form Taster Day gave Year 11 students the chance to step into AW6 life โ exploring A Level and BTEC subjects, taking part in collaborative challenges and experiencing the academic independence and community that define our Sixth Form.
From subject tasters tailored to studentsโ interests to conversations with our Young Enterprise team and Medical Society, Careers and Futures guidance, and live music performed by current students at lunchtime, the day reflected how AW6 helps young people explore possibilities and move forward with confidence.

Our students filled Buckingham Church with the sound of the season. With students proudly performing Silent Night accompanied by a student pianist to the voices of our choir rising together, it was a truly moving afternoon.
Families came out in huge numbers, filling the church and creating a wonderful sense of community as they gathered to support our students. The atmosphere was warm, reflective and full of pride โ a reminder of how powerful it is when music brings people together.
Thank you to every student who performed, the staff who supported them, and the families who joined us. A special afternoon, shared together.

โจ A Nativity to Remember โจ
Our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children lit up the stage last week with beautiful singing, dancing and storytelling in both the morning and afternoon performances. The afternoon show was especially full, with many proud grandparents sharing how brilliantly the children and staff did.
The children remembered every word and action, bringing real joy and meaning to the story. Mrs Eveleigh continues to enrich our Performing Arts curriculum, and this yearโs production shone with creativity as the children performed all around โ and even through โ the audience.
A huge well done to every performer, and thank you to all our families for joining us.

From Sri Lankan street food and freshly made Indian pastries to handmade Ghanaian chocolates at Dark Sugars, warm bagels from Londonโs oldest Jewish bagel shop and still-warm sourdough doughnuts, the day was packed with delicious discoveries.
Along the way, students learned how migration has shaped the areaโs rich food culture, gaining a deeper understanding of the communities that have influenced the flavours and traditions of this vibrant part of London.
A fantastic day out, beautifully represented by our students โ and Year 10 have this to look forward to in the summer!
