based at our Wicken Park grounds in rural Northamptonshire, near Milton Keynes. It is a fantastic start to formal education, combining a caring community environment with high-quality classroom teachers and subject specialists, plus outdoor space that has to be seen to be believed.

Wrap Around Care Assistant

Akeley Wood Junior School are seeking to appoint a Wrap-Around-Care Assistant based at our Wicken Park campus in rural Northamptonshire, near Milton Keynes. You will be responsible for the delivery of safe, creative, appropriate activities and the general welfare of pupils in our After School Wrap-Around-Care. Candidates must have good communication skills and be a dedicated team player.

This is a part-time position, working 15hrs per week during term time. An excellent opportunity to join a highly successful team.

Nursery Nurse

We are seeking to appoint a full time Nursery Nurse to work within our nursery setting based at our Wicken Park campus in rural Northamptonshire, near Milton Keynes.

Candidates must be Level 3 qualified or above, have good communication skills and experience working within a nursery setting would be an advantage. This is a full time position, working 40hrs a week, all year round. An excellent opportunity to join a highly successful team.

Learning Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant who has an interest in teaching Food Technology. This role is based at our Wicken Park campus in rural Northamptonshire, near Milton Keynes.

The role will involve working with a range of pupils to provide support and raise achievement for individual pupils and groups of any ability and in any curriculum area both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with the School Inclusion Lead, Class Teachers, Technology Coordinator and on your own initiative, to prepare and deliver appropriate provision and within your teaching team to provide consistent effective support for all pupils.

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and experienced Careers Advisor to work alongside the Director of Sixth Form to co-ordinate our exceptional Careers and Future Ready Programmes.  This is a pivotal role, based at our new dedicated Sixth Form Centre, AW6.  You will also develop and implement programmes across all three school campuses with a focus on careers advice for those in Years 7 – 13.  This is a full time, term time role with an additional 5 training days and 10 days during school holidays of which 4 will be required for results days to support Years 11 and 13.
