The Junior School, Wicken Park

based at our Wicken Park grounds in rural Northamptonshire, near Milton Keynes. It is a fantastic start to formal education, combining a caring community environment with high-quality classroom teachers and subject specialists, plus outdoor space that has to be seen to be believed.

Music Teacher 0.8FTE

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, experienced and driven 0.8FTE Music Teacher based at our Wicken Park campus in rural Northamptonshire, near Milton Keynes.

We are looking for a music teacher who will be able to deliver weekly music lessons to all year groups from Nursery to Year 6. Our Music Teacher will also be responsible for overseeing our Peripatetic Music Teachers and preparing pupils for various performances during the school year.

As our Music Teacher you will have the vision to grow and enhance our musical provision, harnessing the talents of all our pupils and giving them opportunities to both perform and enjoy music of all genres within school and in local festivals.

Nursery Practitioner

Akeley Wood Junior School & Nursery are seeking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner to work within our nursery setting based at our Wicken Park campus in rural Northamptonshire, near Milton Keynes.

Ideally candidates will be Level 3 qualified or above, however there is also potential for this role to be an apprenticeship working towards the Level 3 qualification.

To be successful you will have good communication skills, enjoy working in a team environment and have experience working within a nursery setting.

We are looking for this role to be covered on a full-time basis working 40hrs a week, all year round however we are also open to considering flexible working arrangements. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful team that enjoy the following benefits:

We are actively recruiting for an experienced School Administrator to provide administrative support to the Head Teacher (Whole School) and Heads of School to ensure the smooth running of the school on a day-to-day basis.  The role supports the general administrative functions of the school, in collaboration with other members of the administration team, with a focus on areas related to pupil administration, including areas of administrative compliance around pupil records, parent liaison and administrative support around operations and events.

  • Full Time, Monday – Friday.

We have a vacancy for an experienced Compliance Administrator.  The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support for the recruitment and training processes for Akeley Wood Junior and Senior Schools. They will provide an efficient and exemplary administrative service for all employee operations including recruitment and onboarding, new starter training and induction, offboarding leavers, maintaining employee and training databases and general administrative support as required by the Head Teacher, Heads of Schools and Business Manager.
