Akeley Wood Senior School in Buckinghamshire provides an excellent and innovative education for girls and boys aged 11 to 18. Our school motto Be Kind. Work Hard. Play Hard and Be You. Brilliantly. Ensures that the school community celebrates talent across the board and students feel like they are valued.
Years 7 to 11 are based at our Akeley Wood House Campus and we have a dedicated Sixth Form campus called AW6. The Senior School curriculum is designed to help develop pupils knowledge and understanding of not only core GCSE subjects but also a wide range of topics, to give them a global perspective. In addition to the in-classroom practices, pupils have ample opportunity to take part in extra-curricular activities including sport and regular trips and visits to enhance their learning.
To better understand our approach to teaching and learning, character development and the breadth or opportunities on offer at our Senior School, please visit during an open day or book a private tour and in the meantime, request a prospectus.
