Toddlers are curious and energetic explorers, motivated to learn through exploration and new experiences. Once a month, starting Friday 14th September 2018, we are opening up our private grounds for a special parent and toddler group that nurtures their sense of adventure.

Expertly led by our Forest School specialist, pre-school children will let their imaginations run wild as they discover the natural wonders of the great outdoors.

Our Toddler Forest School is FREE and open to all families, whether or not your children attend our Junior School and there is no obligation to attend each session.

The session takes place one a month, on a Friday during term time between 10:30-11:30am at our Junior School campus in Wicken village, MK19 6DA. No need to book.

It is the perfect opportunity to spend quality time outside with your little one while they create and discover, make friends and have fun.

Our Forest School has a fabulous willow tunnel, rabbits and chickens, fairy hideaway, dens, storytelling circle and more besides. The shelter of our wooden lodge ensures that outdoor learning can continue, rain or shine.

The academic, social, emotional and health benefits of forest schooling are immense. Not only does the practice represent a unique way to build trust and self-esteem in children, but it also teaches them important new life skills, while helping to promote and develop independence through informal hands-on learning.
