Capturing Potential - Senior School Open Day
Saturday 12th March 2016 (10.00am – 1.00pm)
The pupils of Akeley Wood School are both stretched and supported. Pupil’s targets are set and their levels of attainment are constantly monitored in order that they achieve their full potential. Alongside academic excellence Akeley Wood School offers a wealth of extra-curricular opportunities to complement a pupil’s studies, ensuring that graduates of Akeley Wood are comfortable in their own skin and are headed for a bright future.
Mrs Jenny Clough | Head MA (Cantab), PGCE
At Akeley Wood, we create an individual programme of learning for each student to set them the right level of academic challenge and achieve beyond their targets.
Our Sixth Formers go on to study at some of the top universities.
We offer wrap-around care from 7.45am to 6pm at the Junior School.
Our house system is an integral part of Akeley Wood and encourages camaraderie and friendly rivalry through a series of house challenges and competitions.
